CEO 인사말

Education is evolving; the way we teach, learn, and more importantly, the rate at which we apply our knowledge and skills in the workforce demands fast adaptation, as the needs of the job market evolves constantly. We live in the era of smartphones, where news spreads around the world in a matter of seconds through various social media, and in the era where self-driving cars are a reality and artificial intelligent machines are inconspicuously integrated into our daily lives without our interference. In this ever-challenging and highly adoptive workforce, our goal at Concordia International is to mentor and guide our students in whatever paths they take in their personal lives and to assist them in achieving their personal and career goals. As educators in the IT age, our roles should not be as passive teachers of our knowledge but rather as active mentors and counsellors to our students and protégés.As the CEO of Concordia, my personal vision is to showcase our best talents by combining the disciplines of our culture and the advantages of the global education system around the world. I want our next generation of students go much farther and achieve much higher. I believe this is the role of each of us as mentors and teachers in this IT-focused era.

교육 혁명은 계속되고 있습니다. 노동 시장이 빠르게 변화함에 따라 그에 맞는 지식과 능력이 요구되며 실용적인 교육과 학문 또한 절실합니다. 우리는 자율 주행 자동차가 현실이 되며 일상 생활에서 인공 지능이 활용되는, 소셜 미디어를 통해 몇 초만에 전 세계로 뉴스가 퍼질 수 있는 스마트폰의 시대를 살고 있습니다. 이러한 고도의 발달을 이루는 경제 사회 안에서 콘코디아의 목표는 학생들 개개인의 목표와 커리어의 성공을 위한 멘토링과 가이드 역할을 하는 것입니다. IT 시대의 교육자로서 우리의 역할은, 단순히 지식을 가르치는 교사가 아닌 학생에게 적극적인 멘토와 카운슬러가 되어 주는 것입니다.
Concordia의 CEO로서 저의 개인적인 비전은 우리의 집약된 노하우와 전 세계의 글로벌 교육 시스템의 장점을 결합하여 국제 무대에서 활동할 수 있는 인재를 키우고 소개하는 것입니다. 우리의 차세대 학생들이 자신만의 비전을 품고 지금의 우리보다 더 멀리 더 높이 날아오르기를 소망합니다. 그것이 이 시대에 우리에게 주어진 교사로서, 멘토로서의 사명이라고 믿습니다.
